2003
1999
I was honorably discharged from the Army I worked as a Sub Contractor for the Air Force at Davis Monthan Air Force Base where I was the Lead Switch Technician again maintaining the Nortel SL100, SL1 and CS1000 switches. During the 8+ years at Davis Monthan I also worked closely with the Outside Plant installing both copper and fiber optic cabling from the Central Office out to the end users. We ran both fiber and copper through vaults, manholes, created MPOEs, terminated Demarcs, and cabled entire buildings. The largest copper cable I have ever had to splice was 3000 pair. The largest fiber optic cable we ran was 144 strand across the base, fusion splicing it through several manholes, terminating both ends and testing with an OTDR. Working with the Outside Plant and as the CO Technician allowed me to learn every step of the process from Central Office to the end user.
I joined the Army in 1999 and was trained as a Switching Systems Maintainer (31F) and obtained a Secret Security Clearance. At my first duty station I was assigned to a Battalion that maintained base communications where I was trained as a Central Office (CO) Technician. I worked on the Nortel SL100, several remote offices and several smaller Nortel SL1 switches which provided the entire base with voice and ISDN services. I was then sent to school and certified by Nortel on the SL100 and served my remaining time in Korea maintaining the base switches in the Seoul area.
2009
I left Davis Monthan to work as a CO Tech in Kabul, Afghanistan where I was responsible for the Central Office the connected the US and Nato to bases in the region.
After my time in Afghanistan I decided it was time to get away from the military and work on the civilian side of things. Shortly after my return to the States I was hired by CPT Network Solutions as a Project Coordinator. During my time at CPT I was promoted to Project Manager where I managed accounts such as Sephora, Safeway/Albertsons, NPC, Louis Vuitton, and others.

I decided to move back to Delaware to be with my family and started my own business. During that time I have been traveling off and on as a Lead Vendor for CPT and working small projects, installs and trouble tickets in the region.
